The Anthemion House

Set in Kavala, a 7-minute walk from Archaeological Museum, The Anthemion House is housed in a restored, neoclassical building of 1927 and has a number of amenities including free bikes, a fitness... Small, quiet and clean hotel, with parking nearby. We got there well past reception working hours, but it took just a call for staff to come, meet us, explain everything and we settled easily. The hotel also upgraded our room for free, which we are so grateful for. Due to covid-19, breakfast is served in a basket which we were allowed to take to our room- it had everything necessary for a fresh, tasteful breakfast. Everyone is so polite and helpful! We will be back.

The room was nice and clean. every day they changed the towels and made the bed. Very good breakfast even if we arrived late. Spa was a great experience, we had the hammam. Good food. Impeccable service, the staff was so kind. Private beach with good deckchairs and parasols.

Simply, in this place and in this hotel, everything is the way I like it. Friendly hotel owners, staff... Beautiful restaurant on the beach. Reasonable prices. Ample free parking. An excellent tennis court with a swimming pool in the immediate vicinity. A large supermarket not far from the hotel. A short evening walks to Potos. Kilometer-long landscaped jogging or walking path towards Limenaria. A beautiful bay with an even more beautiful beach...

This was probably the best summer vacation, taking into consideration the fact that we were hesitating till the last moment to travel or not with all this requirements and tests. However it was worth it, as the resort was super calm, perfect for young families and small children, the beach and the atmosphere were amazing! The staff was friendly and professional which completed the whole experience into the perfect vacation. This was our second time in the resort and for sure there will be third!
